Teaching Yoga since 2010

Hatha. Yin. Restorative.

About Me

Since the year 2000, my own yoga path has been a place of immense healing for body and mind, guiding me to become a certified Hatha, Yin and Restorative teacher starting back in 2010. I strive to create a safe, comfortable space for self discovery, where you can let go of your everyday stress to bring more balance to your body, mind and nervous system, creating a healthier, stronger, more radiant self. In my classes I focus on breath work and meditation at the beginning to relax the nervous system and then creative Hatha and Yin flows that will challenge, increase flexibility and strength in body and mind. I give different options in my classes that are well suited for all adult ages, experience levels and body types.

Prior to teaching yoga I was in a serious car accident in 2005 that changed my entire life. I also had a major concussion overseas travelling in 2011. I have dealt with many other physical injuries over the years and was diagnosed with PTSD in 2009. Healing these traumas in my body, mind and nervous system have been my best teachers and help intuitively guide and hold space for students in my classes. Through breath, meditation and physical posture work, we will unburden the nervous system to help balance and re-connect you with your true inner self.

My Teaching Styles

Hatha+Yin Yoga

Pamela’s signature teaching style. A creative mix of Hatha, Yin and Restorative yoga. Designed to relax your nervous system and calm your mind while challenging and increasing flexibility, strength and balance in your body, in a safe and supported way.

Restorative Yin Yoga

A slower, more meditative practice giving you space to turn inward. Rest your body and your mind. 6-8 different poses are held anywhere from 4-8 minutes at a time with props to target connective tissue, fascia, ligaments, joints & bones. Yin yoga helps stretch & lengthen these tissues while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort & sit with your thoughts.

Hatha Yoga

Focusing on alignment, this type of yoga pairs seated, standing & on the back poses with breathing techniques. The class will challenge and flow smoothly from one posture to another, with some long holds in between for deeper fascia stretching. A combination of flexibility, strength, balance, movement & stillness.

*MIXED LEVEL CLASSES. Beginners are welcome but may feel challenged.
